We have delivered a new conveyor, packing & dispatch line for a logistics and distribution centre in INDIA. Shipments are conveyed in plastic crates or cardboard boxes. We designed this dispatch line with IMPEL's smart roller conveyors, belt conveyors, 90 degree transfer unit, Merge roller conveyor, Curve conveyor, High speed steerable diverters (100 Boxes per minute). The automation system and electrical equipment topology integrate shipment weighing, barcode reading identification and close communication with the client's ordering system.
The advantage of the solution is modularity of the line and packing points, which enables a higher degree of pre-assembly and testing of functional units at the supplier. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to shorten the overall assembly time, commissioning and testing of the line at the contracting authority.
IMPEL24 VDC RollerDrive are used for moving and sorting products in the smaller size range inside material handling facilities. Specially use in merging, Sortation, Product separation and gapping, Zone routing transfers within pick modules, Can be belted for inclines, declines, and bag/envelop handling
